While President Obama and Hillary Clinton have been touting the gun laws found in California, Colorado, and Oregon as the solution to mass public shootings, they ignore that the laws that they want to impose on the rest of the US failed to stop the crimes they claimed that they would stop in those states. Even worse, while the existing laws didn’t stop shootings of the very kind Clinton claims that they will stop, they use these failures to justify imposing similar laws on the rest of the country. Now Governor Jerry Brown, trying to divert attention from California's failed policies, is attacking neighboring states. From Fox News:
In wake of the San Bernardino massacre which left 14 dead earlier this week, California Gov. Jerry Brown went on the attack Saturday slamming neighboring states’ gun laws.
Brown told the Sacramento Bee that Nevada and Arizona are a “gigantic back door through which any terrorist can walk.” Brown was in France for climate talks and was noncommittal on whether to strengthen the state’s gun control laws.
“California has some of the toughest gun control laws of any state,” Brown said. “And Nevada and Arizona are wide open, so that’s a gigantic back door through which any terrorist can walk.” . . .
The weapons used in the atrocity committed by Sayed Riswan Farook and Tashfeen Malik were purchased legally in California. . . .

Markie Marxist sez: "Uh, yeah! It's those Arizona and Nevada guys who are to blame! Uh, you know, somehow. They vote Republican! So it's not us commies. We're in California, and we vote Democrat, so we're not to blame. The fact that it all happened here in California has to do with the facts, but it has nothing to do with reality, so we're not to blame. Or something like that. Can we have our standard media bailout about now? It's getting a little hot here in Cali. Hellooooo, national media?!!! Helllllp!!!"
Wait, I thought I heard they couldn't be from California? I can't remember from where, but I thought both the weapons and the clips were items that are illegal to sell under California law. Was that just more bad reporting?
Of course, I think Brown is an idiot. Most governors (especially if they are trying to become President) are idiots too, since we've gone past any argument stage and now need a civic defense. Whether county, state, or whatever jurisdiction, if they've got the power, they ought to train people to keep and bear arms, and do whatever they can to make sure these people can keep and bear arms everywhere rather than having to worry about being fired or having the cops called on them, or whatever. We know these mass shooters rely on their targets not having guns, and we also no we've got a lot of degenerate leaders shirking their responsibilities to us.
