With all the problems going on the president is too busy because he is spending so much time playing golf

With Obama saying about the spill that "The federal government is fully engaged, and I'm fully engaged," he apparently doesn't have time to talk to the congressman representing a district deeply effected by the spill.

Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.), who district has been impacted by the BP explosion, said he tried reaching the president last Thursday to discuss possible solutions.
“He was called back by a staffer on Friday who said that the president was too busy to talk to him. He understood that until I turned on the TV and saw that he was golfing and went out to California to do a fundraiser. He said — six days now and he’s never even spoken to him," McCarthy said. . . .

Apparently Obama has had time for two vacations since the spill occurred. He has also had time for lots of campaigning and meeting with various sports teams. The NY Times reminds us that these golf games run about five hours.
