Carper: "the legislative language is among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life."

Senator Thomas Carper (D-DE) said this about the new health care bill in the Senate Finance committee:

“I don’t expect to actually read the legislative language because reading the legislative language is among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life."

How ever in the world can they expect what they want to happen to come to pass when the legal language is confusing?

This is criminal negligence, when a bill even in "plain language" is such a mess to then be translated into another tongue the masters of which cannot decipher.

Vote Present or Abstain. if you have any honesty.

Unsurprising...completely unsurprising.

But, fodder for his opponents in the next race for that seat.

Unsurprising, but useful, therefore.
