On McCain aides trashing Palin

The Weekly Standard discusses the not very credible attacks on Palin here and here.

Finally it's over. However, the ignorant comments keep coming against GOVERNOR Palin. Her innocence is what irks so many people and they can't get over it. I have said this so many times, it bears repeating. She's a Governor for Christ's sake, She has more experience then the other 3 put together. I fail to see why the leftist people are afraid to admit that well known fact. Her fresh face and energetic personality bothers people. It is of no concern how people behave in private. It is a deep concern when those private behaviors come to light and is accepted as constructive critisism. We have accepted too much in the last 50 years. Now that we have the most liberal President in history along with the 3rd most liberal Vice President, we are assured of continuing status quo when it comes to non-conservative ways. Governor Palin is our Ester. She is a light of shinning honesty and strength and conviction. I will miss her and her Faithful way. As for the McCain aides,,,they are of no concern and we do not hear their words, "just called them liars" GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I think Hyperlink to this from IBD's Ramirez might shed some light on the truth.

I think some people just need someone to blame for the loss.

Secondly, I think the Dems realize that Palin was better recieved by America than they want to see. They are trying to make sure she isn't in the picture for another run.

For Christ sakes (why did someone invoke His Name there?), she was found to violate Alaska's ethics standards by the Legislature! She had to file a complaint AGAINST HERSELF to get it reviewed by a governor-appointed group. (How frequently is that done?)

As an academic, I think you would be alarmed by how inarticulate Palin is. Or that she didn't know the role of the VP. Or that she was so (rightly) shielded by the McCain camp. That even neocons could see the faults with this ticket, but some of your readers can't, is alarming to me. Stop the blame game; start finding more-qualified candidates for 2012 and 2016.
