Couric gives the same answer to question that was unacceptable for Palin
First let me say that I think that this is a silly question. I also think that Couric's answer here is just as useful as Palin's. The youtube click combines Palin's response about getting back that was an answer to another question and this youtube clip creates a very misleading impression because of that.

It seems to me that this only reflects poorly on the left.
Either she is, intellectually speaking, similarly situated with Palin which takes the wind out the sails of those who say Palin's answer evidences her stupidity or she is mocking Palin showing a left bias.
Couric is mocking Palin because Palin tried blaming her ignorance on Couric. Couric has every right to respond this way - not a smart move from McCain/Palin to blame their problems on others.
Couric is not running for VP. I don't care if she's an idiot who can't answer the question.
Your headline is misleading.
Clearly, Couric was mocking Palin, thus Couric was not giving the same answer as Palin. Couric's answer was on a way different level.
