DC passes new gun control law, DC seems to have blinked first

You can download a copy of the new law here. Semi-automatic handguns will be allowed. Machine guns are still banned, but they have the traditional definition by saying that it must be able to fire "more than one shot . . . by a single function of the trigger." The storage provisions are now the same as those in 17 states that have so-called safe storage laws. A copy of some related research can be seen here.
