You did very well in an awkward format.
It is so difficult to give effective argument in such a constrained timeslot.
Helmke trotted out the usual statistical fraud, but you managed to succinctly highlight his sleight-of-hand.
Nicely done sir!
I agree with the previous post. well done.
To me it was clear that your opponent understood that he was on the wrong side statistically and understood a need for a right to self defensive arms.
I am baffled how he can continue on with the Brady campaign.
Thank you both very much.
I agree with the other comments here. I think you did a good job of representing the facts for us. It didn't look like Mr Helmke was in touch with the reality of the issue. Thank you for a job well done. Keep up the good work. I also quote you in many of my "discussions".
Job well done my friend. Would have been nice had they given you more time to challenge Helmke on his sudden shift that he was not against self defense, and how are law limiting now many fire arms I can buy per month making us more safe?

Hello,
In MY opinion, non-violence, non-cooperation and conflict resolution is the only way for our world to reduce its violence. If however, this doesn't work, then less than lethal weaponry is the best way to self-defend if you are concerned about not having to take somebody's life.
