I mentioned Nixon, but PBS an entirely different situation since it is "owned" by the government. The government has some control over what people do with government television. Just because liberals were put in there originally by an earlier government doesn't mean that they can control things forever. Personally, it would make the most sense to sell off PBS to private owners and then keep the government out of the entire debate.
