Are metal bats riskier than wood bats?

Who cares about statistics and other facts? I hate aluminum bats, for the sound they make if nothing else, so let's ban them all. They're ugly, baby-killing assault bats, not at all like the fine sporting bats with which I grew up. You can trust me when I say that I'd never want to bat those nice traditional wooden bats, just these dangerous, military-style semi-automatic assault bats.

The smaller ones are good for self defense in municipalities that have banned weapons (but have not yet learned to ban self defense.) In England the government learned they had to ban self defense to prevent anyone from using any object to defend against an attack. If you smash an attacker on the head with an aluminum bat you will be compelled, in court, to explain why you were carrying a bat; just say it's your fish killer and you forgot to put it in your boat (or something like that.) Anyway, don't waste a good wooden one, use an aluminum bat as a liberal head smasher - they've been known to create such a shock as to convince them the error of their ways on self defense. Sometimes, after being smashed on the head, they wished they had been shot. Eventually, though, they will be considered assault weapons, and will be regulated under the 1934 National firearms act that regulates assault weapons; but, they will have to prove aluminum bats are high powered, so only smaller, less powerful individuals may legally use them to avoid the 1934 firearms act.

The difference between a metal bat and a magician's wand?

The wand is for cunning stunts...
