NBC's David Gregory defied DC police order not to use large capacity magazine on Meet the Press
NBC was told by the Washington police that it was “not permissible” to show a high-capacity gun magazine on air before Sunday’s “Meet the Press,” according to a statement Wednesday from the cops.
“NBC contacted [the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department] inquiring if they could utilize a high capacity magazine for their segment,” Gwendolyn Crump, a police spokeswoman, said in an email. “NBC was informed that possession of a high capacity magazine is not permissible and their request was denied. This matter is currently being investigated.” . . . .Any bets on whether the laws apply equally to David Gregory and the average citizen in DC?

Markie Marxist sez: "Of course the law will be applied equally to David Gregory! Some animals are more equal than others - that's equality under the law, so he won't be charged. For some people Orwell wrote a novel, for us Marxists, he wrote a handbook. Now, if that Wayne LaPierre guy had brought in that magazine, it would have been a SWAT team takedown before he could set foot outside the studio. The law treats people equally like that."
