So why doesn't this count as a donation from George Clooney?
I got this email from the Obama campaign tonight.
Take the difference between how much Obama raised for a donors to have dinner with him right now and how much he would raise from this get together at Clooney's house. Wouldn't that be a non-debatable measure of Clooney's donation to Obama's campaign? So much for the $2,300 personal limit.

I've been getting these emails daily. It's funny that the campaign can't raise money on its own merits, but has to do it by raffling off a chance for dinner with Clooney.
