Homeowner defends himself from several intruders who hit him with a crowbar
Police are investigating a death in North Nashville on Monday afternoon, according to police dispatch.
Police said several men broke into a house just after 2 p.m. on 26th Avenue North. They asked for someone the homeowner didn't recognize, police said, and then the homeowner was hit with a crowbar.
He managed to get a gun and shoot two home invaders -- one was killed, and another was seriously wounded. Police said they believe the wounded man was driven to General Hospital by a man waiting outside.
Police said all the other suspects are in custody.
