Megyn Kelly does a GREAT job holding the CAIR representative's feet to the fire
This guy from CAIR so distorts what Juan Williams said and refuses to deal with the fact that Williams dealt explicitly multiple times with the fact that the threat isn't from all Muslims. The only thing that Ms. Kelly might have raised is this when the issue was raised of CAIR's image:
CAIR has long been identified as a Hamas-affiliated Muslim Brotherhood front group through the Texas Holy Land Foundation (HLF) trial -- the largest terrorism funding trial in U.S. history. CAIR is named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the HLF trial. The sheer volume of participants in the terrorist fundraising schemes lent itself to a list of co-conspirators subject to prosecution with the same evidence that resulted in the successful prosecution of the Holy Land Foundation in 2008. . . .

National Proletariat Radio only condones free speech when it is in alignment with far left viewpoints.
As for Mr. Williams, I can say that his viewpoints have annoyed me greatly at times, but that in and of itself is no reason to censure him, nor fire him.
For I to engage in behaviour that consists of punishment for one's speech because I dissagree with it, would simply place myself in the position to be punished myself for what I post here or elsewhere.
As a staunch supporter of the Constitution, I cannot allow either action to take place. We as Americans do have the right to speak our minds, and if one finds it offensive, so be it. CAIR and any other organisation that suppresses freedom of speech are simply weak fools whom do not comprehend the consequences of their actions. How would CAIR feel if it were somehow punished for simply for expressing themselves as a group? After all, do they not have to abide by the same standards as others? If so, NPR, CAIR and a whole lot of others would be suppressed so that they do not offend others themselves!
Where does it stop?
It is too bad that some folks lack the ability to understand that if one 'gives power' to forms of speech they dissagree with, they no longer have power over themselves.
With the aforementioned in mind, one can use so called 'hate speech' as an example. Let us suppose for a moment that I call Dr. Lott by a racial/religous/colour name, and he becomes angry about it. Dr. Lott, by being angry not only gives power to I by doing so, he also loses the ability to counter my behaviour with rational thought. Hmmmm, sounds a lot like NPR and CAIR, no?
Mundis Vult Decipi seems to be the basis upon which the so called left wingers depend upon when they themselves deny others their rights.
In my own battles against ignorance, I have encountered a great deal of hate directed at I, simply because I hold an opposing viewpoint. Rather than losing my own temper, I simply respond with a factual argument that supports my viewpoint. This almost always leads to name calling, instead of facts that support the other sides argument. I'd be very happy if those whom say they are 'Left Wing', would just simply grow up, and rely on factual evidence rather than knee jerk childish smear campaigns or trying to destroy one's job/career.
Last, but not least... If you do ever hang out here Mr. Williams, I'd like to say; Good Luck in your future endeavours sir!
