Majority of gun owners think that Obama will try to ban guns during his presidency



I can only imagine if the poll had asked whether people think that Obama will try to ban some types of guns, that the percentages would be extremely high. The Gallup Survey is available here.

Gun control? He's going to have to drain the swamp first, and he's up to his eyeballs in alligators at the moment.
He's going to have to unfail his health care nationalization effort, deal with his indecision on Afghanistan and reverse the decline of the economy before he can take on gun control. At this point his presidency is in a nosedive. He's not wondering where the parachutes are yet, but he is wondering if he can pull it out in time. If he doesn't, he's a one termer.
He does not have the luxury of pushing gun control at this time, though he would if he could. He has basic competency issues that are going to continue to dominate his agenda. He's doing a poor job as president and if he doesn't reverse that he'll be voted out.
