Why does Obama keep saying that Republicans are providing "no alternative" on health care?

Why does President Obama keep making this claim:

He says critics offer no alternative plan

The Republicans were not willing to let this drop, though only the Politico seems to be reporting this.

But they pushed back against criticism leveled against at them from Democrats that they had yet to offer any real ideas for reforming the nation’s health care industry.

“I think to say that Republicans have no plan is just plain wrong,” said Camp, listing off ideas that the party had put forward but had been rejected.

Didn't some other community organizer once say something like "Tell a lie; make it big; repeat it often enough, and it becomes the truth"?

No, no, he means he hasn't READ any alternative plans from Reps.

It's true (of course he hasn't read any of the Dem plans, either, but he has talked with Pelosi et. al.) and if he hasn't read them, then none exist? Right?

The corruption of language is essential to the program...

Nobody made it clearer than the Slickster himself, when re redefined, or rather undefined the meaning of "is".
