The UN gives us four months to solve global warming

The UN makes this amazing claim.

As we move toward Copenhagen in December, we must “Seal a Deal” on climate change that secures our common future. I'm glad that the Chairman of the forum and many other speakers have used my campaign slogan “Seal the Deal” in Copenhagen. I won't charge them loyalty. Please use this “Seal the Deal” as widely as possible, as much as you can. We must seal the deal in Copenhagen for the future of humanity.

We have just four months. Four months to secure the future of our planet. . . . .

Only four months? Does this mean I no longer have to shovel snow?

Can I get the cash for clunker snowblower package? You know, the governemnt program where I turn in my old snow blower for a new patio set, seeing as how in four months there will be no more snow due to global warming?

Just as there are those whom mentally seize up during an emergency, we also have those whom cannot contemplate the thought that their ideology has no foundation in fact.

John Leach published a study in Aviation, space, and environmental medicine ISSN 0095-6562, that ties into my above paragraph. "Many witnesses attest that victims of a disaster often perish despite reasonable possibilities for escaping because their behavior during the initial moments of the accident was inappropriate to the situation."

Sounds a lot like our elected offals, does it not? Why does there exist a set of folks in the world whom no matter how many times they are exposed to sound data that refutes their ideology, they simply ignore it and cling even tighter to their unfounded beliefs.

If I recall correctly. Dr. Lott used to be pro gun control. After much study, Dr. Lott's position changed. To I, this is normal behaviour. When one is confronted with irrefutable fact, one simply corrects ones self, and moves forward in life as a better person.

So much for normal, eh? So few are telling so many that time is running out to fix everything, be it global warming, or the health care system.

Just in case any elected individuals are reading this, here's a heads up...

90% of a solution, is the correct identification of the problem.

All the rhetoric in the world does not change the truth. Rushing to implement anything, only creates more misery and waste for those whom are not in high levels of government.

Well, now we know what at least one person wants for Christmas. With luck, he'll get the same response as six-year-olds who want a pony - socks and handkerchiefs.

I don't deny that CO2 is, at least in potentia, a problem. There is a limit even to how much vegetation can take up (I've heard roughly a 900percent increase). But THE cause of ALL climate variability? Not even close.
