Where have state health care plans that are similar to Obama's worked?

Here is a discussion of Hawaii's system.

Here is a discussion of Massachusett's system (see also here and here).

Here is a discussion of Tennessee's system.

Notice one common feature of these programs is the huge cost overruns.

Hmmm, there seems to me at least more than one thing in common with all three situations from these three very different states...

1) did the citizens get a chance to cast an informed vote for any of these plans?

2) the use of someone else's wealth is being extorted to cover the costs of others...

3) what excuse do elected officials and state bureaucrats offer up for not understanding the lessons of history when it comes to central planning and state control over what should be a private enterprise system?

And speaking of ObamaKare...

Dodd has been diagnosed with prostate cancer

Send his 65 year OLD self home with a bottle of pain pills and then go back and check on him in a few months, ask him how that ObamaKare BS is working out for HIM!!

Sorry the guy has cancer, but the only way these SLUGS in D.C. will ever get over their love of Obama and ObamaKare is to make THEM suffer through it themselves.

Mitt hits back

Apparently he can only control cost overruns if he can do it on a federal level. "Our current fee for service system creates the absolute wrong incentives for both patients and doctors and is what’s driving the health care cost in this country higher and higher."

Because paying for services always drives prices up?

That probably makes total sense to the Mittens minions.
