"Never waste a good crisis, Clinton says on climate"

This is very depressing, but probably true.

[Hillary] Clinton told young Europeans at the European Parliament that global economic turmoil provided a fresh opening. "Never waste a good crisis ... Don't waste it when it can have a very positive impact on climate change and energy security," she said.

Europe sees the United States as a crucial ally in global climate talks in Copenhagen in December, after President Barack Obama signaled a new urgency in tackling climate change, in stark contrast to his predecessor George W. Bush. . . . .

Why shouldn't Obama, Clinton and others travel by small high mileage cars?

"Never waste a good crisis" and didn't Rahm say something similar?

I'm often entertained by the self-destructive nature of liberals as their personal choices lead to such.

However, this deep rooted mental illness which seeks to create a "bondage" of citizens, is disturbing.

How mentally disturbed must an individual be to think that suffering is a way to capitalize on human commodity?

How psychotic in an individual that "believes" shared suffering is somehow a virtue?

A false question. You know perfectly well they travel in armored cars, small high milage cars aren't part of the secret service fleet.

This is a typical socialist ploy. They need a crisis so they can mobilize the people. Read Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg.

Iconic Freedom, shared suffering has always been a virtue of socialism.

The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings; the inherent virtue of socialism is the equal sharing of misery.

- Winston Churchill
