Very anti-gun Governor Rod Blagojevich required to turn in his firearm owner's identification card
The Associated Press has the story here:
He was released on a signature bond that specifies that he'll forfeit $4,500 bond if he doesn't appear in court. Blagojevich also was ordered to relinquish his passport and his firearm owner's identification car[d]. . . . .

Like Diane Feinstein before him, who advocated handgun control, but kept her own handgun and CCW permit, Governor Rod is a "Do as I say, don't do as I do" Democrat.
Only $4500 bond? You'd think he was a shoplifter. So did he have to turn in his gun as well?
Does he even own a gun? (If so, he wouldn't be allowed to possess it without a FOID card.) Or was getting the FOID card a sop to rural downstate voters?
