Obama campaign tries to get NRA ads pulled

Not content to make its case to the public, the Obama campaign is threatening legal action from its general counsel to make television stations stop running the ads. The Obama campaign cites FactCheck.org and the Washington Post. Yesterday I ran a piece that showed that both of those sources were completely wrong in their claims (see also this). Click on these scanned images of the cease and desist letters to make them larger and readable.

Reminds me of when the Obama campaign tried to use scare tactics going to the DOJ to keep an ad from being run.

Is that business as usual in Chicagoland?

Oh, the rabbit hole goes much deeper than you think!

Obama just sent in his "truth squads" here in Missouri.

Working with local law enforcement, they are going to be arresting and prosecuting those who the Obamessiah believes to be telling a Lie about his un-Holiness!

I've already posted a message on my website that if the "truth squad" or ANY local law enforcement steps foot on my property without my permission and proper authority, I'm taking them out!

Last time I checked, the Fourth Amendment was still attached to the Constitution.

I intend to use my 2nd Amendment rights to protect my 1st Amendment rights if my 4th Amendment rights are violated...

No right to keep and bear arms with Obama, and no right to free speech either.
I read Kennedy's words singling out and specifying the .30-30 cartridge in particular as one that he wanted banned and one that his legislation would ban. That is historically the most commonly used deer-hunting cartridge in America. I understand that Obama himself voted for that legislation.
Kennedy's claim that his legislation would not ban hunting ammo is therefore a blatant lie, but can one reasonably expect intellectual integrity from a derelict, old alcoholic, or his supporters?
This inappropriate effort on the part of the Obama campaign amounts to poking the NRA with a sharp stick. Apparently, Obama wants to help the NRA with its fundraising, because that is what he is doing.
Bad enough that he opposes the Second Amendment, but when he moves against First Amendment political speech, he reveals his Communist totalitarianism. Obama wants the power of the presidency, but the American people would have to be insane to give it to him.

Great work, as always, John. This is truly frightening. Where is the ACLU on this? For Obama and his goon squad, free speech only applies to them. I didn't think it was possible, but Obama may actually be even more totalitarian than the Clinton machine.

Great stuff John, it doesn't surprise me that Obama wants to stop the 1st Amendment as well as the 2nd.

Change, not my kind of change.

Neat... in one move he targets both the first and second amendments. Gotta appreciate the efficiency of a politician who can attempt to take down 20% of the Bill of Rights with one move.

Then again you'll never get your backside chewed out any faster than by saying something politically incorrect to a liberal. Free speech is of course their favorite thing... long as it's speech they approve of.

Nice work. ~ Rob Jones
