Growth in US and EU debt

The EU is a mess. So how has US debt growth compared to the growth in the EU debt? Well if you compare the growth from 2008 to 2011, the US growth really outpaces the growth for the EU. The US goes from from about 64 to 93 percent. The EU goes from about 66 to 85 percent.
