North Carolina Democrat Governor Bans Transportation or possession off of property of guns during Hurricane threat
North Carolina Governor Beverly Perdue instituted a state of emergency that allowed her to issue the order when Hurricane Earl recent passed the state. A discussion of her order is available here. Not all the links on the website worked so I wasn't able to check out all of the article's claims.

This just another fine example of an politician illegally trampling on the rights of citizens to defend themselves. When citizens are stripped of the right to keep and bear arms, criminals prevail, and in doing so, just gives politicians an excuse to further strip citizens of their God given rights.
Ah, yes. Democrat. Answers the question without asking further, doesn't it.
During the next "emergency," someone will defend themselves with deadly force using a firearm taken from their property. They will be arrested and we'll see just how far this madness goes.
Of course, they shouldn't have to, but a true socialist like Gov. Perdue must do everything in her power to keep the serfs unarmed.
