Maybe someone should buy Beatrice a pistol grip 12 gauge pump shotgun she can shoot from the hip and load some 00 buckshot in it.
Some economics professor should study the cost/benefit analysis to society if public funds were used to buy shotguns for homeowners instead of room and board for incarcerated criminals while they study to perfect their trade.
