"Attorney General Tries to Silence School Choice Ad"
This, finally, is too much: Eric Holder, Attorney General of the United States, walked up to former DC Councilman Kevin Chavous at an event and told him to pull an ad criticizing the administration for its opposition to the DC school voucher program. The Attorney General of the United States!
This is as outrageous and shameful as it is consistent with other administration hostilities toward free speech (see also here) and freedom of the press.
There is a deep revulsion to such behavior in this country. It is not a Republican or a Democratic revulsion, it is an American one. Obama administration officials seem not to understand that, but voters will help them get the message the next time they go to the polls. . . .

This administration seems to be completely blind to both free speech and the very adamant and vocal protectors of free speech on their own side that won't abide even their Messiah stepping on the 1st.
My fear is that they have something up their sleeve that will render free speech AND elections irrelevant.
There, I said it.
Hopefully the First Amendment will prevail so that the SEcond may remain at rest.
Thugs always want their critics to shut up, and the DC school choice issue, Obama's caving to union thugs, reflects very badly on what he SAYS he stands for. The two cannot co-exist.
Holder is a sock puppet here, but I do find it especially disgusting for a "successful" black man to want to hold back black children. I thought that was the job he alleges white racists do.
Don't blame me, I voted for the American.
