Obama on the "evil" insurance companies
ARP event, he [Obama] said, "So, the idea behind reform is, No. 1, we reform the insurance industries so they can't take advantage of you."
At Children's Hospital last week, he said, "Health care professionals are doing heroic work every day. ... But they're being forced to fight through a system that works better for the drug companies and insurance companies than for the American people."
He also said, "Even as America's families have been battered by spiraling health care costs, health insurance companies and their executives have reaped windfall profits from a broken system."
And, he added, "Those opposed to reform are doing nothing but working for insurance companies and insurance executives."
He told the American Medical Association in June, "We need to end the practice of denying coverage on the basis of pre-existing conditions. The days of cherry-picking who to cover and who to deny, those days are over.
"I know you see it in your practices, and how incredibly painful and frustrating it is - you want to give somebody care and you find out that the insurance companies are wiggling out of paying."

The failure of socialism in general and this regressive health plan Bama is promoting (bad ideas from the past on steroids) leave The One with no other choice but to tear down others, create strawman enemies to fight.
This is in preference to a plan with plausible advantages which could be touted without fear of rebuttal.
Bama doesn't even know what is in the plan, by his own admission, but it clear to him it must be implemented. This is ideology, not good government, and hardly unsuprising for a man who has done nothing but talk for a living.
This is more talking out of both sides of the mouth. Supposedly, the insurance companies are spending too much, letting doctors order too many tests and taking out too many tonsils. Simultaneously, the insurance companies are denying coverage.
Although there are many lies being spread by the President regarding whether you will be able to keep your plan, he is being suprisingly frank about the fact that "tough choices" will need to be made about who gets care (i.e. rationing of care). I fear for the elderly, which everyone will be some day. I fear for dementia patients. I fear for premature babies. Who will decide whether these groups are "worth" the cost?
Well for those who had been paying attention, its been known for quite some time that Obama has strong commie leanings...
Obama just reenforced his commie dogma during the campaign...
So its not like we should be shocked...
