Trivia: I kept on wondering to myself during the news coverage on all this where is Mumbai in India. Decades ago I was very up on learning where everything was. In any case, it turns out Mumbai is the new name for Bombay.
The hotel had metal detectors, but none of its security personnel carried weapons because of the difficulties in obtaining gun permits from the Indian government, according to the hotel company's chairman, P.R.S. Oberoi. The gunmen raced through the marble-floored lobby, past the grand piano into the adjoining Verandah restaurant, firing at the guests and shattering the windows. . . .

Well from personal experience India didn't always use to be so hard on the possession of firearms...
I visited India several times in the seventies but the country at that time seem to undergo ethnic riots with seeming regularity at that time...
Maybe this is what changed the attitude of the Indian government towards ownership of personal firearms...
Isn't it amazing how that works? These subhumans simply have no respect for the LAW! "Oh, I can't have a gun here. Guess I'll have to go somewhere else to murder people in cold blood".
I have been reading articles on the internet today about India's strict gun laws and how it contributed to the slaughter in Mumbai, yet not one MSM channel has peeped a word of it. Thank you for opening my eyes to the real news.
