British Anti-gun campaigner stabbed to death
The grandson of prominent anti-gun campaigner Pat Regan has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing her to death.
Mrs Regan, 53, was discovered at the property on Marlborough Grange in the Hyde Park area of Leeds on Sunday.
The mother-of-six started campaigning against gun crime when her son Danny was shot dead in 2002.
The 20-year-old man was being held on suspicion of murder, police said. It is thought he had been arrested earlier in the day over another stabbing.
A 45-year-old railway worker was treated in hospital for a stab wound to his arm after challenging a man for trespassing at Leeds station on Sunday morning, British Transport Police said.

Color me unsympathetic...
Goofy hag with her inane campaign cost how many lives?
That's weird. I always thought England was one of the safest places in the world since they basically banned the possession of firearms....
Hmmm;
Murdered by her own grandson,
One son shot and killed in his bed.
Other son shot and wounded in a nightclub.
Well, she's not likely to blame the upbringing she gave them, or their genes is she?
England has had more violent crime than any other country in Europe, and higher than the US since at least 2000 (Bouten et al 2002)
Gee, he was arrested earlier in the day on suspicion of stabbing another person...and then stabbed his grandmother later the same day?
What was this guy doing on the street? Are stabbings so commonplace in the UK now that suspects are not even taken off the street for a day?
Is the country collectively nuts or what?
Are you SURE she's dead? I mean, no EVIL GUNS involved, nobody gets killed...
And now, they're not ALLOWED to see gun videos!
People's Republic of GB!
