The world used to have a consensus that the sun revolved around the earth so naturally Galileo had to be forced to recant. You didn't know who funded him or his agenda, did you Ms. David?
I only got half way through that vid, the woman was spouting so much shit i just couldn't listen any more.
a friend has been doing a lot of work on detectors for making the basic observations of solar energy emissions.
The woman said she "believes in science" and as a scientist myself (certainly not a climate scientist although I side with the majority of them in believing that any warming trend is not man made) I know the risks of formulating a hypothesis on the basis of limited observations.
The basic science of studying solar variability has not been done yet, and untl it has, anyone arguing that the debate is closed has more in common with the inquisition than with sound science

Thanks, Keith. I agree that it gets difficult to watch after a while, but the reaction that David and Crow had to this interview indicates that they are not used to being questioned.
I was at an academic seminar on Friday and I was amazed how it seemed that most of the audience hadn't even heard that the Sun might have something to do with temperature changes.
