When it comes to Wikipedia, you need to think differently about entries concerning public figures and very controversial topics than you do about entries on basic factual things like geography, history, math, physics, or chemistry. While the entries about Mia Love, Barack Obama, or Global Warming are subject to abuse, I'm quite confident the entries on N-Acetyl-Cysteine, Voyager 1, and quadratic equations are quite reliable.
